If you're in the Wynwood area for Gallery Walk or whatever, check out Enriquetas Cuban restaurant at 186 NE 29 Street. They have all the usual Cuban fare -- sandwiches, all sorts of platters, delicious shakes and more.
Breakfast and lunch are only served, so get there before the Gallery Walk. They are known for their steak sandwiches and Bistec A Caballo -- steak, hame, eggs and French fries or salad, only $8.75.
It's a nondescript place, sort of looks like a shack but you can't miss all the Mercedes, BMW's and Ferraris in the parking lot or parked on the street.
Enriquetas has specials Monday through Friday like steak, Vaca Frita, Arroz Con Pollo, etc. starting at $8.75.
Their hours: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 4:00 pm; Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Phone: 305-573-4681. There was a small fire there recently, but all is well now.
