The Green Schools Challenge (GSC) is looking for teachers and supporters to join Dream in Green (DIG) on Saturday, April 20, 2013, from 7:30 to 10 pm, to celebrate DIG's achievements at the historic Terra Veritatis Estate in Miami Beach.
This year, DIG has partnered with South Florida Green Drinks to honor the enormous contribution that GSC teachers are making to ensure a sustainable South Florida.
The VIP dinner is from 6 to 8 pm with the 2013 Eco-Lifestyle Award recipient receiving a $1000 award for individual and $1500 for couple.
From 7:30 to 10 pm is the actual Gala Reception featuring a Taste of Green South Florida Fare and entertainment by a special guest performer. Cost is $100 per person, $175 per couple. GSC teachers and students will receive a discount ticket price of $50.
This milestone celebration will be a carbon-neutral event that will bring together South Florida's green community for an evening of music, organic cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, a silent and live auction, and Eco-Lifestyle Awards honoring Amber Valletta and Rohan Marley.
