The Amernet String Quartet and a string ensemble from Alhambra Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Donald Oglesby, will present Italian Vistas, an all-Italian program on Sunday, April 28, including works by Vivaldi, Mascagni, Corelli and Verdi, and featuring the Italian Serenade by Wolf.
Concert tickets include admission to the Coral Gables Museum exhibits, including the current exhibit, Italy in Motion. A cash bar will be available prior to the concert and during intermission. This lively program is a collaboration among the Museum; the Amernet String Quartet, FIU's popular quartet in residence; Dr. Donald Oglesby, internationally known baroque scholar and professor at UM; and Alhambra Orchestra, Miami's community orchestra.
Bring the family to enjoy this event, which starts at 4 pm. Tickets are $30; $20 for members; $10 for students with valid ID.
