Glenn Terry and his merry band of Mangoheads headed off to Everglades City today, to celebrate the success of last Sunday's South Miami version of the King Mango Strut. There's a seafood festival going on in Everglades City all weekend, it continues tomorrow, if you are so inclined.
That's Glenn at right, on the bus with mic in hand, reminds me of that other time I tagged along on a bus tour with Glenn. At left is Mr. Mangohead himself boarding the bus for the long day (they left about 10:30 am and will be back tonight at 8:30).
About 45 people or so signed up for the trip, it was a full bus as it drove off from the McFarlane Road pick up point.
Stephen the Peacock, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Day School, bid them farewell as they boarded the bus and headed south; actually they headed east, then north, then turned around, well, you know the route. . .
