S. Fla Arts and Business Council moving to Grove

The Grove has just gotten a huge vote of confidence from the Cultural Arts community thanks to Heather Bettner, Village Council member and producer of the Coconut Grove Peacock Tour. Heather encouraged them to come to the Grove and found them the office space as well.

The South Florida Arts and Business Council has decided to move their corporate offices to the Grove Square office plaza located 2801 Florida Ave. The move will happen in March 2011 and definitely will put Coconut Grove on the map as not just an arts community but an arts and business community as well.

The South Florida Arts and Business Council is an important non-profit organization that supports all of the arts community in the Tri-County area. Their focus is to foster and build partnerships between business and the arts that are mutually beneficial and contribute to the economic and cultural vitality of Greater Miami and the South Florida Region.

The Arts & Business Council accomplishes this in part by linking the business community with arts organizations through direct service and integrated projects, training programs, information systems, networking events, workshops and board development to help prepare future arts leaders and managers. In addition, such organizations must have the sophistication and the strategies to develop beneficial and ongoing relationships with the business community.
