Selling and marketing art is subject of workshop

If you are an artist, or want to be, this workshop is for you.

The Coconut Grove Arts Festival Gallery is presenting a one-day action packed workshop with nationally recognized marketing authority, artist, jeweler and juror Bruce Baker called "Thrive, Don't Survive!"

It's a must for artists who want to wholesale their work, increase their sales and keep up with product trends.

While explaining wholesaling of art, production costs and pricing along with studio time and trends and product development and learning the power of using trends to create saleable art, Bruce will also intertwine his sales and merchandising tricks of the trade into presentation.

The workshop is Saturday, February 12 from 9 am to 4 pm, with a short break for lunch. It's at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival Gallery (3390 Mary Street).

Cost is $50 for Florida Craftsmen members and $55 for non-members. Mail your check to Florida Craftsmen, 501 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33701 or call with a credit card to 727-821-7391.
