At The Kampong (4013 South Douglas Road) is presenting an evening of operatic arias and duets put on by the Manny Perez Vocal Studio on Saturday, April 9. The evening begins at 6:15 pm with a wine and cheese reception in the courtyard under the famous Kampong wedding tree, followed by the concert at 7 pm.
Vocalists, accompanied by Maestro Daniel Daroca, will perform a rich tapestry of music, including selections from Don Giovanni, Die Zauberflote, Lucia di Lammermoor, Barber of Seville and Broadway selections.
"We've chosen an exciting array of operas that will delight and entertain," says Vivianne Swietelsky, concert chair.
This promises to be a one-of-a-kind performance in the lush gardens.
All tickets are theater seating, cost is $50 per ticket. There's a 15% discount for Kampong Fellows and Kampong Members ($150 and above) receive a 10% discount.
