A mini march/parade is taking place in Village West on Veteran's Day, Thursday, November 11. It starts at 9 am at Christ Episcopal Church (3481 Hibiscus Street) and ends at the cemetery at Douglas and Franklin, where the procession will stop for a moment of silence for fallen veterans. Music and singing will accompany the march. Police, fire and veterans will be part of the parade.
The procession will then head back to the church where they will have hot dogs and soda.
