Amigos for Kids is having their 19th annual holiday toy drive kicking off at the Museum of Science (3280 S. Miami Avenue) tonight, November 17. Amigos For Kids is a South Florida non-profit organization committed to helping abused, abandoned, and less fortunate children.Tonight's cocktail reception from 6:30 to 9:30 pm is a call to action for toy donations. Ford Motor Company, as part of Operation Good Will, their major giving initiative in South Florida, is partnering up as the returning Presenting Sponsor of the Amigos For Kids Holiday Toy Drive 2010 for the third year.
Top choices on the 2010 Amigos Holiday Toy Drive wish list are: MP3 players, DVD players, bikes, Disney Princesses, roller skates, CD players, Star Wars toys, sporting equipment, educational toys, digital cameras, board games, Bratz, Barbie and Dora Dolls, truck sets, makeup kits, car seat toys, coloring kits, and especially for the teenagers, gift cards.
