Reward is now $10,000 for capture of Grove rapist

Today the Miami Police Department, along with Crime Stoppers and local media, congregated on Virginia Street for a re-enactment of the recent Coconut Grove rapes.

Actors portrayed the scene at the exact location on Virginia and later at the second location on Mary Street.

Above, Lead Detective on the case, Gary Jackson, informed the media that the reward is now $10,000 for the capture of the rapist. He says that to date, there have been no sightings or further attempts.

According to police, the suspect is approximately 5'7", late 20's, 160 lbs, medium built, last seen wearing all black with a red or black mask that covered most of his face. The suspect has a distinctive brown mark on the white portion of his right eye.
