The 17th Annual Martin Luther King Celebration is taking place tomorrow, January 17, 2:30 pm, at the St. Stephens Episcopal Church (2750 McFarlane Road)
Pastor Ricki Gardner of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church will deliver the homily and the Greater St. Paul A.M.E. Church Mass Choir will render the song service.
This year’s service is dedicated in memory of Mrs. Roslyn Scippio Sparks ~ a community advocate, a faithful worker at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, an educator and drum major for children of all ages, and a dedicated and diligent member of The Coconut Grove Ecumenical Network. Her good works are appreciated.
