The Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce is having the 44th Annual Golden Coconut Luncheon on Friday, January 22 at noon at the Mayfair Grill (3000 Florida Avenue).
I am proud to be one of the honorees along with Robert Parente, Director, Miami Mayor's Office of Film, Arts, Culture & Entertainment; Pierre Sands, President HOATA & Founding member of TreeWatch; Guillermo "Willy" Vega, Executive Director-Investments, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and Major Jorge Martin, City of Miami Police Department.
I know them all personally and think they all are deserving. I am in great company.
Also being honored is the late Yvonne Marjorie Hall McDonald; Office of City of Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff.
The luncheon cost is $28 for Members and $30 for Non-Members (waived if you join the Chamber at the Luncheon)

Special Guest Speaker is Joseph Adler, Producing Artistic Director, Gables Stage and Coconut Grove Playhouse. We all are anxious to hear the plans for the Playhouse, so this should be a fun luncheon.
