La Bottega presents popular wines and jazz

On Friday, January 29, La Bottega (3540 Main Highway) presents Rhythm & Wine Unplugged Jazz at 6:30 pm. Enjoy Marina Martin Bossa Nova Blues live in the La Cava Club (Underground @ La Bottega). Cost is $20 per person, which includes the wine.

But first, on Thursday, January 28, La Bottega will be presenting some of their most popular wines at a Wine Tasting from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

2008 Murphy-Goode North Coast Sauvignon Blanc, “The Fume”, $14.99.
A great wine to serve with stone crabs or oysters on the half-shell.

2007 Sonoma-Cutrer Russian River Ranches Chardonnay, $23.99.

Wine Director Henry Barrow tasted this wine on a mountainside overlooking the winery. He loved it then. He loves it now. Bring on the lamb shanks.

2006 Catena Cabernet Sauvignon from Argentina, $22.99.
The beef in Argentina is leaner than USA beef and the Cabs do not have to be as acidic because of the leaner beef. You will like the Catena no matter where your beef is from.
