Movies at CocoWalk filling a void?

movies
Many are talking advantage of CocoWalk's free movies on Friday nights. While the Muvico theater is under renovation, the free movies are shown out on the Plaza. Is it filling the movie void in Coconut Grove? A lot of people feel we need more movies, like all over town where one place could show silent movies, another could show westerns, another could show comedies, and so on.

Many people actually eat dinner and watch from their tables at CocoWalk, which is a cool thing and could work in various restaurants around town (especially if you aren't into much conversation with your dinner partner).

Tonight's movies are:
8 pm My Life In Ruins
Immerse yourself in this sunny, uplifting romantic comedy starring Oscar Nominee Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and Academy Award Winner Richard Dreyfuss.

10 pm Year One
Zed (Jack Black) and Oh (Michael Cera) are cavemen who stumble out of the mountains into an epic journey of biblical proportions from director Harold Ramis (Groundhog Day, Caddyshack, Analize This).
