The All-Grove Crime Watch will meet tomorrow, October 14, at 7 pm at St. Stephen's Church (2750 McFarlane Road), in the Great Room at the rear of the church grounds.
Parking is free in the surface lot next to the church.
Meet with City of Miami police, State Attorney representatives, Grove residents and others to learn about recent crime activity and how best to prevent future crime.
The City of Miami Police are presenting a Citizens on Patrol Class on Saturday, October 17 from 9 am to 1 pm. It will be held at the NET office (2820 McFarlane Road).
The Citizens on Patrol (COP) program gains the assistance of selected citizens to take an active part in crime prevention efforts within the neighborhood. This program, by making you the eyes and ears of the working police officer, will become an integral part of the effort to suppress crime and improve the quality of life in the Grove.
The function of COP is to observe and report suspicious criminal activities within an assigned area. You may download an application here.
