The guys at Muvico have been very accommodating to the Grove. They are partnering with the Merchants Group in bringing movies to the Grove while the new theaters are being renovated at CocoWalk.So far about seven venues have been identified around town (inside and out), which would be great spots to show movies for free. Muvico will provide the projection equipment and expertise, the Merchants Group will arrange the viewings.
It's in the works, but perhaps one place would show silent or classic movies, another would show love stories another action movies, etc.
If you have a venue (store, restaurant, theater-type club) that you would like to provide to for the movies, please email me. The movies will probably set up for once a week showings, but even if you would like to have only one movie night at your location, that is fine, too.
