LoKal, the burger place at 3190 Commodore Plaza is having a new special beer pairing on Friday nights called, "The Tap Takeover and Food Pairing." They have legendary brewer Jonathan Wakefield brewing his special beers for one night only this week. They are also now the only restaurant/bar selling Miami Brewing Company's Blond Ale, a new brewery in Homestead.
This Friday's pairings are Homestead Guacamole paired with Jonathan Wakefield's Watermelon Berliner for appetizer, then for burger suggestion and pairing, there is Royal With Cheese paired with Wakefield's Pineapple Kolsh or try the Turkey Burger paired with Miami Madness.
For dessert they are offering Puerto Rican Tres Leches with Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout.
The Tap Takeover is $42. It's from 6 to 8 pm.
