Wednesday night's Chamber Networker at Villa Mayfair, was one of the most fun mixers in a long time. The place was jammed packed with people. The venue was incredible. Max and Rae had their hands full trying to serve all the guests at the bar. The drinks flowed non-stop. Hors d'oeuvres were passed around all night and there was a very generous raffle with lots of prizes like wine, magnums of champagne, hotel gift cards and more. I won three gifts myself -- a bottle of wine, a magnum of champagne and an Arts Festival poster! I gave them all away to friends at the bar.
Andres Lemos, commercial realtor and Chamber Board member, manned the front door with Monica Chaviano, the Chamber administrator, that's attorney Lee Marks, with them. Lee won a case of different wines in the raffle!
Stephan M, the DJ, kept the music going all night, from right beside the bar.
My friend Lynn Sanz, is here with the crew from the new magazine called More Miami. That's Hernan Valdez, Rosa Davis and George Alvarez, who enjoyed themselves so much that they stayed late and had dinner at Villa Mayfair after the Chamber event.
It was "Blush Wednesdays" night, Villa Mayfair's Ladies' Night, so as the Chamber event was ending, lots of beautiful ladies were entering. There was also a special birthday part in the back area of the restaurant, so Florida Avenue was hopping last night. Many went across town after the event to a fashion party going on at La Bottega.
