Two special classes at Dharma on Saturday

The Dharma Yoga Studio is holding two events on Saturday, May 12.

From 4.30-6.30 pm is  The Vitality of Breath: A Pranayama Workshop with Will Duprey.

This workshop will explore the practice of directing your energy by controlling your breath.  Known as Pranayama, it is a major component of all schools of thought within yoga philosophy.  Pranayama is practiced to generate positive feelings, to calm, heal, cleanse and vitalize the nerves, lungs and bloodstream. This workshop is aimed toward beginners, and will teach you how to set up an invigorating and healing breathing routine. Experience one of the most powerful tools for mental balance, control and stress management. $30 in advance, $40 at the door. Register online at www.dharmastudio.com and to learn more, visit www.WillDupreyYoga.com.

Then later in the evening, from 7.30-9 pm experience  Dharma Afer Dark:  The Ultimate. Gentle, Stretchy Yoga by Loree Sharager and Live Sacred Music with Richard Brookens.

This class will lull your soul.  The crazy-talented Richard Brookens will serenade the group with his musical magic, from percussion to woodwinds, to countless one-of-a-kind esoteric instruments.  This symphony of sound and energy will accompany Loree's beloved Gentle-Stretchy Yoga class, designed to soothe the whole body and awaken the mind through delicious, mostly-passive stretches and deep, thorough relaxation.  The two of them together will take you on the ultimate hour and a half vacation of your life. $20 in advance, $30 at the door. Register online at www.dharmastudio.com  and to learn more visit www.yellowbellmusic.com.

Dharma Studio is located at 3170 Commodore Plaza.
