The Thelma Gibson Health Initiative Youth Violence Prevention Intervention Program, funded by The Children’s Trust, will be partnering with the Coral Gables Senior High School Football team for the 4th Annual Family Fun Fest/Red & Gray Football Game on Friday May 18 from 2:30 to 6:30 pm. This event will include food, entertainment and guest speakers including Joshua from the Joshua’s Heart Foundation.
The focus is to engage the community and expose its members to health conscious activities. The program promotes a repertoire of behaviors and skills that result in personal, interpersonal, and social empowerment.
The Children’s Trust emphasizes collaboration and partnership in order to provide the programs and services needed by children and families and to effect community-wide change.
The event is being held at Esther Mae Armbrister Park, 236 Grand Avenue.
