A little piece of the Grove in Kathleen Turner movie

PerfectFamily_
It looks like Felice Dubin, from The Bookstore, is a movie star now! Well, not really, but she has a small walk on part in the new Kathleen Turner movie, "The Perfect Family," which opened on Friday. It's not playing in the Grove, but you can see it at Sunset Place and also on some cable systems on "On Demand."

Felice's daughter, Jennifer Dubin is the producer of the movie. I remember about a year or so ago, Felice was telling me that she was going to Los Angeles for the small walk on part.

Felice comes on sort of in the middle of the movie, it's at a table scene, so it's more of a sit in part, rather than walk on.

It's about a woman, Kathleen Turner, who is nominated for a coveted Catholic Woman of the Year award and the only problem is her flaky family who she tries to keep out of the way so as not to screw up her chances of winning the award. It also stars Jason Ritter, Emily Deschanel and Richard Chamberland, who plays a priest (Thorn Birds part 2?)

Rex Reed, the critic, loves the movie; you can
see a picture of Felice in the corner of the image he used with his review. And if you bring your movie stub to The Bookstore (3399 Virginia Street), they'll give you 5% off any purchase.

You can see a few scenes of the movie
here.
