"Tea For the Horses" fundraiser to help animals

The South Florida Society for the Prevention of Curelty to Animals is having a fundraiser called "Tea For the Horses" at the Coconut Grove Woman's Club on Sunday, November 13.

The City of Miami Mounted Police Patrol will make a special appearance. There will be Equestrian related art, jewelery, sculpture and other items in a silent auction. All proceeds will go to Help the Horses.

A High Tea and Wine Tasting will include tea, savories, scones and sweets. Peggy Hall will perform on the baby grand piano.


Generous donors include the Delano, the Dog Bar, City Hall restaurant, Island Girl Pottery, Palm Orchids, Saks Fifth Avenue and more.

Cost is $25 per person, the event is from 3 to 5 pm.
