Culinary fundraiser benefiting Common Threads

On Tuesday, November 15, Common Threads will host the 2nd Annual World Festival Miami from 7 to 10 pm in the Cruz Building at 3157 Commodore Plaza. The annual culinary event brings together Miami’s premiere chefs to raise money for health and nutritional education for city’s youth.

World Festival Miami, hosted by Chef and Owner of Michy’s, Sra. Martinez and Crumb on Parchment, Michelle Bernstein, will feature the global cuisine from some of the South Florida’s most notable chefs including, Timon Balloo, Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill; Mamma Bernstein, Crumb on Parchment; Sean Brasel, Meat Market; Laura Cullen, Clarke’s; Berenice De Araujo, Sra. Martinez; Jamie DeRosa, Tudor House; Joel Huff, Azul; Michael Love, Epicure Gourmet Market & CafĂ©; E. Michael Reidt, Area 31; Luis Pous & Alex Rosado, The Dining Room, Little Palm Island; Jason Schaan, Michy’s; Mario Tolentino, BLT Steak at The Betsy; Mark Zeitouni, Lido Restaurant at The Standard Hotel; Essensia Restaurant, The Palms Hotel and Spa.

In addition to the global fare and cocktails provided by Bar Lab, there will be a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind items and experiences, and a live auction hosted by Lee Brian Schrager, the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival Founder and Director.
