Bobby Ingram performs at Barnacle on Friday

Coconut Grove's own Bobby Ingram is performing this Friday, January 14, at The Barnacle's Under Moonlight series.

Bobby is a Coconut Grove native and was the cornerstone of the flourishing folk scene there through out the 1960s and '70s. Aside from performing around the Miami area for over four decades, he has either owned or operated several coffeehouses in South Florida, including the Café Catacomb in Fort Lauderdale and the Gaslight South in the Grove.

Bobby has performed with Neil Young, David Crosby, Jimmy Buffett, Vince Martin, Fred Neil and many others. Today a Bob Ingram show is a rare opportunity to experience a true Florida original.

The Barnacle under Moonlight Concert Series support special projects at the park sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., which is a volunteer non-profit, citizen-supported organization created to generate public awareness, education, and financial support for the preservation and maintenance of this historic home.

Gates open at 6 p.m.; music plays 7-9 p.m.
Admission: Adults $7.00; ages 6-9 $3.00; children under 6 are free.
