Big Truck & Fast Cars Day at Science Museum

If you're not into the Barnacle's Cars & Cigars this Sunday, June 16, Miami Science Museum is celebrating Father’s Day with Big Truck & Fast Cars Day, which includes kids’ activities, a raffle, giveaways and trucks galore for the whole family in honor of all amazing dads. Dads get in free with a paid child’s admission.

Attendees can interact with a variety of specialty trucks and vehicles, which will be located at the museum’s parking lot. Guests can experience:

Car2Go – Learn more about the innovative SmartCar up close by seeing the concept car, accompanied an informational kiosk.

Ryder – If you like big trucks, Ryder will be the stop for you. See how their fleets move.

U.S. Army – View the type of vehicles used by Army forces around the world.

Prestige (Lamborghini Miami) – A unique opportunity to see the specialized details of a Lamborghini Gallardo.

Homestead Speedway - Love NASCAR? The Speedway will have racing vehicles on display, along with great giveaways.

Waste Management – These on-the-go trucks keep the county “Green.”

City of Miami – An annual favorite is the city fire truck. A staff member will be available to answerquestions.

Food trucks will also be onsite. Inside the museum, activities will include a hands-on activity in which kids can build andrace their own air-balloon powered cars; movie promotions of the new DisneyStudios’ production, Monsters University; and a special raffle just for dads.
