More news coming in about this year's Big Howl in the Wood, which is Saturday, March 30 at Shell Lumber.
Ticket prices are $10 at the door and $10 presale at Shell (2733 SW 27 Avenue).
The charity involved this year is Shake-A-Leg, they will have a table set up at the event to bring awareness to their organization. And this year, the Solar Dogs, the headliners, have an opening act, it's Avocado Estate from the University of Miami school of music. They are a progressive old time string band.
Food this year is being provided by Sakaya Kitchen and possibly another vendor or two, they promise no long lines like previous years. Cortland Joyce and his Pop Nature ice pops will be there, you know, the guy with all the exotic mixed flavored ice pops.
To get a taste of Solar Dogs, which I am sure you all know already, they the "Grove's band," you, you can stop by the Gifford Land Art Stroll this Sunday, where they have generously donated their talent.
