Coconut Grove Elementary School is having a "campus cleanup," this Saturday, March 16. It starts at 8:30 am.
Everyone in the community is invited to help the Stingrays get the school grounds in shape. They plan on pruning, planting, digging, raking and landscaping.
The school is over 100 years old and many of the school's alumni, family and friends are going to participate in the name of Stingray spirit.
More maintenance is planned, but this Saturday is the kickoff.
Just show up ready to work, bring work gloves and items if you have them and if you are not inclined to do the dirty work, they are accepting donations to help the cause.
