All Star Basketball game coming to the Grove

Tournament of Champions, Inc. (TOC) is presenting the 18th Annual South Florida All-Star Basketball Game on Saturday, March 9, at  Ransom Everglades (3575 Main Highway.  This is the  largest youth all-star basketball game in South Florida. The rooster was released last week and the buzz  has already begun on social media. 

Elite players ( Dade vs Broward) will compete for the coveted notoriety title, bragging rights and scholarships. TOC’s All Star games have become a staple within the fabric of the South Florida community.

TOC Inc. has also forged an innovative community partnership with Virrick Park in Coconut Grove and will hold their signature Shoot for the Stars Positive Peer Leadership Symposium  and basketball clinic for 150 young people in the community. The symposium and basketball clinic will take place at Virrick Park on March 9, from 10 am to 1 pm. Former Philadelphia 76ers World Champion Guard Mr. Wali Jones will facilitate the workshop. Former Miami Heat Mark Strickland and Miami-Dade High School All-Star Basketball team will also participate. 

The games will start at 2 pm at Ransom and run every two hours. Tickets are $10.

Tournament of Champions, Inc is parent company of WEST Sports Management, INC, an organization that has a legacy of conceptualizing and executing sporting events in the United States and the Caribbean.  Founded in 1992, TOC Inc. has partnered with Nike Corporation since 1997 to produce a myriad of sporting events inclusive of the premier football and basketball events for high school student athletes.
