A very civilized way to start a weekend morning

art1
The Coconut Grove Gallery & Interiors held a complimentary Brunch With the Artists on Sunday morning, as part of Art Festival Weekend, which followed Saturday's Mojito Happy Hour. As guests entered the parking lot, they were treated to the chalk art of Jane Portaluppi Durand, who was in the process of creating this beautiful image. It's a two-day project and if you stop by the gallery again today (2884 Bird Avenue), you can see it being completed.

Jane is doing a fantastic job, there's lots of detail in the chalk art. Also, as a special treat from the gallery, they offered a shuttle service all afternoon to and from the Coconut Grove Arts Festival on the other end of town.

As we entered the gallery, we were greeted by Bailey!
