St. Patrick's Day doings in the Grove

Greenstreet (3468 Main Highway) is living up to its name tomorrow, March 17, and going green for St. Patrick's Day. The English are meeting the Scottish tomorrow tonight.

Specials include half priced Scotch, which is part of their classic Wednesday Scotch Night (check out the Macallan Ice Balls). And they will be having Guiness on draft at $3.50 and half off on Irish whiskey.

A DJ will be spinning all night.

The Grove Spot (3327 Virginia Street) is serving corned beef and cabbage starting about noon. First come, first served. Happy Hour is from 4 to 7 pm.

And over at Mr. Moe's (3131 Commodore Plaza), check out the Lobster Zone machine, where you can win a whole lobster dinner for $2.00 per try! There is also green in the machine -- bucks at the bottom of the zone. Try for that as well as a dinner.

Barracuda (3035 Fuller Street) is having Green Beer and $1.00 off Guinness.

The Sandbar (3064 Grand Avenue) will be celebrating with penny beers starting at 10 pm.

Crazy Pianos at CocoWalk has $15 buckets of Heineken as a special.

The Flanigan's Limo Bus will be visiting Flanigans/The Loggerhead (2721 Bird Avenue) with an entourage of lads and lasses loaded with Irish giveaways.

Gift cards will be given out to the "greenest" guys and girls and a special $100 gift card will go to the best.

Corned beef and cabbage is $13.99 and on the menu tomorrow only.
