This year, instead of hunting for Easter Eggs, Coconut Grove is having an Easter Coconut Hunt. Real coconuts, painted to look like Easter Eggs (Easter Nuts) will be hidden around the Grove and the hunt is on to find them, Saturday, March 27 from 11 am to 3 pm.
All coconut hunters will receive an Easter basket for their efforts and the Easter Bunny will be in town to preside over the day's festivities. Everyone can have their photos taken with the Easter Bunny, too.There will be a petting zoo, free tasty treats like snow cones and cotton candy and more.
There is a kids' coloring contest and live music and even complimentary flowers for Mom.
This is all free and open to the public. The main staging areas are at CocoWalk (3015 Grand Avenue) and The Shoppes at Mayfair (2911 Grand Avenue).
