Burn Notice to begin filming today

Burn Notice is back in town for another season of filming; their fourth. We stopped by the Expo Center on Friday, which was frenetic with workers preparing sets, putting up lighting and working on the sound. The trailers are all set up in the parking lot, which hold dressing rooms, wardrobe and lighting.

Upstairs the offices were buzzing with activity, everyone was excitedly running around preparing for another busy season of filming in and around Coconut Grove. You can feel it in the air.

On Friday night, the stars of the show, Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar, Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless, along with producers and staff had a little "Welcome back to Miami," party held by Mayor Tomas Regalado. It was a low key affair attended by just a few invited guests.

We saw Jeffrey Donovan walking on Commodore Plaza on Saturday at lunch time. So it's cool seeing them all around town again.

As you move around the Grove in the next few months, you'll most likely see film crews doing their thing -- creating the life of Michael Westen and friends for the popular USA network show.
