Music series for kids

The Kampong (4013 S. Douglas Road) is presenting a music series for children called "Classic Tales to Classic Music." First up is "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," two short pieces by Bruce Adolphe, tomorrow, March 20.

With the Goldilocks piece, Papa Bear is the cello, Mama Bear is the viola, and Baby Bear is the violin. Goldilocks is the oboe, and the piano ties it all together in this jazzy, funny version.
Little Red Riding Hood is a fun and surprising version of the story for narrator, violin, viola, oboe, and piano. Even wolf fans like this one!

Gate opens at 12:45 p.m. Concert begins at 1:30 p.m.

The evening performance features Nicole Yarling and the 4-Tet performing at Miami’s newest jazz venue, the K Lounge.

Tickets for both concerts are on sale now and may be purchased online at
kampongevent.ntbg.org or by calling Iliana at 305.442.7169 or email kampong@ntbg.org.
