Ugo Di Roma Salon & Day Spa (2801 Florida Avenue) and The Gold-Diggers, Inc. are uniting for The Gold-Diggers, Inc.’s Second Annual Cut-A-Thon charity event on Sunday, February 28, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
While haircuts usually range from $75 to $100 at Ugo Di Roma, guests at the salon on this day can receive a haircut for $20-$25 (depending on hair length), blow-dry for $20-$25 (depending on hair length), nail polish change for $5, 20-minute mini-facial for $20, and/or a relaxing reflexology massage for $1 per minute (10-minute minimum). Special pricing is available for a Sensational Salon Sampler to complete the experience, including all five services.
Cocktails are sponsored by Good Spirits and Regalia Vodka, and gourmet “couture” cupcakes will be served from Cupcakes Nouveau.The Gold-Diggers, Inc., a local women’s charity organization now in its 33rd year, has raised over one million dollars for its beneficiaries, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of South Florida and The Food for Life Network. The Gold-Diggers, Inc. is comprised of 60 women from Miami-Dade and Broward Counties who raise money for these charities through various fundraisers and their annual spring musical revue.
