The book being discussed is "Island Apart" by Steven Raichlen, a Coconut Grove resident.. Steven is also a cookbook author extraordinaire. "Island Apart" is a great summer read, a combination of romance and love for food.

What's interesting about the Book Club is that many people turn up at these events from all walks of life and so many different perspectives come up with lots of points of view. It's a great cultural event that we are lucky to have right here in our community.
