Participate in National Astronomy Day

Saturday, April 24 is National Astronomy Day. And not to be left out, the Miami Science Museum (3280 S. Miami Avenue) has a whole day of family activities planned for this whole day of Astro.

Star shows and guest speakers will be offered, also receive free star-finders and "Getting Started in Astronomy" materials. The museum is open from 10 am until 11:30 pm.

The planetarium's legendary laser shows at night are also available during the Astronomy Night Laser Fest. The show times and performances are:

9:30 pm - The Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band

10:30 pm - Pink Floyd: Interstellar Overdrive/ Echoes

11:30 pm - Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon


Laser Show Admission: $4.00 children - $8.00 adults





A Celestron 6-inch NexStar telescope valued at $750 is the grand price in a drawing you can enter on site.
