Nomade Gallery announces Artist of the Month

Gerardo Gonzalez-Quevedo is the Artist of the Month at the Nomade Gallery (3133 Commodore Plaza). On Thursday, April 15, from 6 to 9 pm, there is an opening reception in his honor, all are welcome

The Cuban artists came to the United States in 1988. He studied art at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. Gerardo works in many mediums like oils and acrylics, mixed media including encaustic works on wood, prints and original lithographs on paper. He has had his work shown all over New York from SoHo to Brookyn.He illustrated the book Frases de El Procaz Euardo by Eduardo B. Ferrer (1999). His Drawing was selected to be included in the catalog for "The Fan Exhibition" in Tokyo, Japan (1996).
