Will Schmierer and friends have come up with a brilliant idea for advertising local businesses -- magnets! Their business, Mr. Magnet, targets one neighborhood area and allows local businesses to share advertising space on one large refrigerator magnet.5000 magnets in a particular zip code (33133 for instance), are targeted and the magnets arrive via US mail, free of charge. There are useful everyday phone number on the bottom of the magnet, so people are more apt to keep them.
Each business on the magnet will be exclusive to it's type, for instance, only one pizza place, one video rental place, one printer, and so on.
There is no contract to sign and no commitment. It's $600 flat rate for an ad box on the 5.5" x 9" magnets. The first 5000 will be going out at the beginning of the year, now is the time to buy your ad for that first mailing.
