Focaccia Rustica (3111 Grand Avenue) seems to be the place to be these days, walk in at lunchtime and almost every table is taken and you'll probably know most of the people enjoying lunch there. They have a fresh new menu, including their pizzas and some new recipes for their new number one favorite, lamb chops.
For Christmas, they are offering gift baskets with wine, champagne, chocolates, biscotti and actually whatever you would like, they'll make them from scratch and customize them for you. They go from $35 to $60. Or just buy a bottle or two of wine separately.
From now until December 23, receive a Focaccia $10 gift certificate (for dinner) when you donate an unwrapped toy to their Toy Drive. There is a box right near the counter, you can't miss it. The toys will go to the Boys and Girls's Club of Miami.
