The Grove House Artists (GHA) have moved. Their former location was the Heart of the Grove on Main Highway at the St. Stephen's location, but that is under renovation and their storefront was knocked down.
Their new home is the promenade at Mayfair. Right next to the Antiques and Collectibles Market. Perfect fit. They are scheduled to open September 5, for the First Saturday Art Stroll.
The featured artist for September is Jesse Chao; in October it is Ana Llaurado. Both exhibits will run through November 27, 2009.
GroveHouse Artists, a not-for-profit organization, was organized to help provide venues for local artists to exhibit their original art work. GHA also strives to establish a community forum for awareness and participation in the arts and the art experience by presenting cultural programs, presentations, and exhibits that are open and free to the public.
Their new hours will be:
Monday - by appointment only
Tuesday - Thursday - noon to6 pm
Fri - Sat - noon to 9 pm
Sunday - 11 am to 5 pm
