The Miami Heart Gallery Children's Trust show is back in the Grove again this year. On display are the incredible artistic photos of the children who are up for adoption.
This is a traveling, museum-quality exhibit featuring portraits of children in Miami-Dade’s foster care system.
The Windisch-Hunt Gallery (2911 Grand Avenue), where the exhibit is being held for the second year, had the most adoptions of all the participating galleries last year as a result of the exhibit -- eight!
On Saturday night, there was a reception with food and wine and many people came out to see the photography and learn about the children.
The show runs through September 7, 2009. Hours are 6 to 10 pm, Tuesday through Friday and noon to 9 on Saturday and Sunday.
