The Miami School of Rock Music is taking the stage on Saturday, August 15 in Peacock Park. The 40th Anniversary of Woodstock is being honored at a concert starting at 5 pm.Local bands will recreate the summer of 1969 right here in the Grove.
“It’s really about bringing Woodstock to the next generation,” said Woodstock founder Michael Lang. “Roots are important, musical and cultural, and 40 years after the Festival, we’re thrilled to have kids from the Paul Green School of Rock join us as the youngest part of the Anniversary celebration.”
Food and drinks will be sold. Bring your blankets and be prepared to party like it's 1969.
