Do yard/garage sales need permits?
A few people were upset after they read Glenn Terry's Herald column yesterday. They don't like the fact that there is a permit process involved when having garage or yard sales.
Permits are good, check out this house on 32nd Avenue, just a few feet outside the Grove's city limits. It's a dump. The occupants sell this crap every week. They are in the City of Miami, so I'm not sure how they get away with it. But many of the houses in the area between here and Coral Way do this on a weekly basis.
So in this instance, I am glad that Code Enforcement is picking on the Grove again. We don't need this here. I don't think they need it there. It's a mess and I am surprised their neighbors put up with it. Both photos, above and below are one house, this mess stretches out from one end of the property line to the next.
