The art of George Bethea to be featured

"New Work," the art of George Bethea, will be featured at the Coconut Grove Arst Festival Gallery II. The opening reception is April 2 during the Gallery Walk night from 7 to 9 pm, and the exhibit will run through May 25.

George is a classic modernist and abstract artist who lives and works in Miami. From his promo flyer: "His work is characterized by sensious, congested, textured surfaces and luxuriant color. He composes his abstract paintings by using flexible, transparent acrylic mediums which allow him to spray, pour and pile on the paint. His paintings have been exhibited and reviewed in North America and Europe. His work can be found in numerous public and private collections in the U.S., Canada, Europe and throughout the Caribbean."

The Gallery is at the Mayfair Atrium on Grand Avenue.
