And now there are four -- running for Commissioner

Former Planning Advisory Board Vice-Chairman and community activist Donna Milo has officially announced her candidacy for City of Miami Commissioner in District 2. Donna ran for Congress in May 2010. She also served on the Board of the City of Miami Commission on the Status of Women, the Miami Dade Domestic Violence Oversight Board and the Metropolitan Miami Action Plan Nominating Committee.

Asked why she is running Donna Milo said “The City of Miami is in a financial mess and we definitely can’t rely on those who have caused the mess to fix it."

“I have earned my living honestly and have worked hard my entire adult life while also serving my community. I want to bring that experience and will to serve to the City of Miami government” said Milo.

The three others running for the seat are incumbent Marc Sarnoff and two current Coconut Grove Village Council Members, Michelle Niemeyer and Kate Callahan.

Update: According to Daniel Ricker's Watchdog Report today, Williams Armbrister, Grove activist is also in the running. So that makes five.
