Thursday, March 17, is St. Patrick's Day. Coconut Grove has a lot going on.

Flanagan's (The Loggerhead) has the Leprechanu Express, one of the original gourmet lunch trucks. Their limo bus and an entourage of lads and lasses will be loaded with Irish giveaways. They will visit every Flanigan's location, including the one at 2721 Bird Avenue, which will be about at night, about 10:30 pm.

$100 gift cards will be given out. But best of all, stop in for their homemade corned beef and cabbage -- over half a pound of premium corned beef, combined with a wege of fresh cabbage, new potatoes and baby carrots, cooked to perfection. Guinness beer is $1.00 off.

In the Center Grove, The Grove Spot (3324 Virginia Street) will have their own delicious corned beef and cabbage for lunch. Above is the crew from CocoWalk enjoying the special with owner of The Grove Spot, Olav Smit.
