The Chamber luncheon this month is Friday, April 9 at the Ritz-Carlton (3300 SW 27 Avenue) from noon to 2 pm. Guest speaker is Merrett Stierheim (left), who will speak on the City's budget crisis and the problems at Jackson Memorial Hospital.Mr. Stierheim is the recipient of numerous local, national and international awards. He has been involved in or has been a principal founder of major Miami-Dade civic and municipal institutions including, the Beacon Council, the GMCVB, and Metro Miami Action Plan (MMAP)
.
Most know him as County Manager for many years during tumultuous times, calming the county and helping to control its finances.
