New initiative "Live Miami Music" starting soon

"Live Miami Music" is a new program that the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is launching to promote various venues in Miami along with the Miami-Dade Office of Film & Entertainment.

The live music scene will take center stage this spring through the program. Hopefully locals and tourists alike will enjoy the live performances at locations all over the county. This initiative will provide music fans access to the hottest local acts as well as an updated list of concerts dates and times. Currently, quite a few Coconut Grove locations are being asked to join the program, smaller venues are being encouraged to participate.

“Miami has always had great musicians, and we’ve definitely noticed growing interest in seeing them perform locally,” said Rolando Aedo, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Tourism for the GMCVB. “We’re in the perfect location to have rock n’ roll, blues and jazz from the U.S., along with the influences from the Caribbean and South America providing a truly unique local live music community. “Live Miami Music” will bring it all together, making it easy for music fans to find performances and help local musicians and venues promote their shows.”
