Next week MCA academy is inviting the public to their monthly Open House. It's from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on October 14 through 18 but other hours are available by appointment.
Parents may tour the facilities, see the classrooms and meet the teachers. MCA features no FCAT's and limits homework so that students may pursue interests beyond school such as spots, acting and music. One of MCA's recent graduates is a full scholarship Tennis Player at Michigan and was able to compete and learn her sport while being an honor student in middle and high school. MCA is a 1-12 grade, non-sectarian private school.
