Hold off on those celebrations for awhile

Remember that New Times Snackdown a few weeks ago, where Coconut Grove beat Coral Gables in the "Best Neighborhood for Dining" category?

Well, the Gables Chamber has asked for a rematch. They feel that the ballot boxes were stuffed.

Ironically, a big Coconut Grove party is being planned for April 12, to celebrate the win, but maybe that should be held off for awhile until the rematch occurs. Although there may or may not be a rematch. The New Times is asking readers what they think.

I suspect there will be a rematch. Why not? It's good for the neighborhoods and for New Times' readership. Plus it's fun.
